Synthetic biology at Life Technologies
Federico has led the DNA assembly team for over four years, and has been involved in the development of a series of cloning and gene expression products for a variety of platforms. Before joining Life Technologies, Federico held a postdoctoral research position at Harvard Medical School in Boston, where he uncovered the molecular basis of the transport of reduced thiol groups in proteins across the cytoplasmic membrane in bacteria.
